Obituary

William Herman 'Bill' Snipes, age 66, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on KY 801. Born August 31, 1947, in Morehead, Herman was a son of the late Arlie Lee and Florene McRoberts Snipes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Chris Snipes, and an infant sister, Linda Snipes. Mr. Snipes is survived by his wife Cheryl Adams Snipes; two daughters, Angel Beigel and husband Will of Springboro, Ohio, and Angie Henry and husband Michael of Carlisle, Ohio; one brother, R. C. Snipes and wife Sue of Morehead; two grandchildren, Katie Beigel and Cole Beigel; several nieces and nephews; and extended family members. Bill was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a retired contract truck driver and a former driver for Borden Metal Company for 21 years. Bill was of the Baptist faith and active in the church. He enjoyed hunting, working on classic cars, reading, attending auctions, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Celebration of Life led by the family will be conducted 6 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Memorial Chapel. Military honors will be presented by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2014, at the Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton, Ohio, with Pastor Mike Worrell officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Friday, February 7, 2014, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Funeral: Friday, February 7, 2014, at 6 p.m. Interment: Monday, February 10, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrolton, Ohio
