William E. 'Bill' Bradley, 86, of Meadowbrook Drive, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 27, 2012, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born July 31, 1926, in Gary, Indiana, he was a son of William Herbert Bradley and Hattie Alice Murray Bradley. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Col. Earl R. Bradley, Mervil Bradley, and Ova Bradley, and one sister, Corene Castle. Bill is survived by his wife of 64 years, Phyllis Anne 'Pucky' Jayne Bradley; one son, William 'Rick' Bradley and wife Yvonne of Morehead, Kentucky; one daughter, Cathy Jayne Kays and husband Wayne of Frankfort, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Dana Bradley Quesinberry and husband John, Bradley Kays and wife Kristi, and Chad Kays and wife Jennifer; and six great grandchildren, Will Quesinberry, Maggie Quesinberry, Madison Kays, Aiden Kays, Ella Kays, and Libby Kays. Other survivors include a sister, Vernita Becker of Washington, Georgia, and several nieces and nephews. Bill was a U.S. Army veteran and retired in 1985 as a field accountant with Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company following 37 years of service. For many years, he and Pucky enjoyed dancing and attending MSU sports events, as well as community and civic activities. Bill, an avid golfer, was nicknamed 'Bump' by fellow golfers and proudly scored six holes in one. He was also a longtime supporter of Morehead State University golf and basketball teams and a 61-year member of Morehead Masonic Lodge No. 654. Bill and Pucky attended the First Christian Church and United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Dr. Jack Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Cemetery with full military honors by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126. Pallbearers: Randy Stacy, Randy Day, Brad Kays, Chad Kays, Nathan Davis, Ray Bailey, and Will Quesinberry. Honorary pallbearers: former members of MSU Golf Teams, Friday Poker Club members, and Bump-s golf buddies. Visitation is at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals after 5 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2012, with Masonic Services conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday by Morehead Masonic Lodge No. 654. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Morehead-Rowan County EMS, P. O. Box 842, Morehead, KY 40351. Visitation: Wednesday, August 29, 2012, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Thursday, August 30, 2012, at 2 p.m. Interment: Lee Cemetery
