Willard Vernon Pinkerman, Jr., age 86, of Hamilton Road, Morehead, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025, at UK – St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.
Born May 10, 1939, in Ironton, Ohio, he was a son of the late Willard Vernon Pinkerman, Sr. and Eather Fugett Pinkerman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his companion, Tammy Boyd; two brothers, Harley Pinkerman and Ellis Pinkerman; and one sister, Barbara Emery Davenport.
Willard is survived by one son, Willard Pinkerman III (Carrie) of Ashland; one daughter, Barbara Pinkerman of Flatwoods; two step sons, Wayne Norris (Ginny) and Larry Messer (Danielle), all of Morehead; two step daughters, Christy Adams (Jeff) of Morehead and Revena Bloomfield (James) of Olive Hill; one sister, Shirley Clemmons of Hendersonville, Tennessee; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to casinos, and playing cards, especially poker. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2835 Flemingsburg Road, Morehead, KY 40351 with Pastor Jeff Fannin officiating.
Pallbearers: Willard Pinkerman III, Wayne Norris, James Perry, Justin Johnson, Barry Rayburn, Tyler Campbell, and Terry Middleton.
At his request, there will be no visitation
