Wilfred Fryman -Buck- McGuire, age 70, of Hamilton, Ohio, formerly of Big Brushy, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2008, in Hamilton, Ohio, after a short illness. He was born February 5, 1938, in Gratis, Ohio, son of the late Lurman and Julia Fryman McGuire. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Dean McGuire and Rock McGuire; a brother-in-law, Kash Arnett; and sister-in-law, Mickie McGuire. Mr. McGuire is survived by one stepson, Roger Dale; one daughter, Valerie Dawn Keaser; and two grandsons, Richard Alan and Andrew Michael Deeter. Other survivors include three brothers, Gale McGuire and wife Lela of Union, Ohio, Carol McGuire of Hamilton, Ohio, and Keith McGuire and wife Alene of Morehead, Kentucky; three sisters; Joy Arnett of Elwood, Indiana, Lois Cooper and husband Richard of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Margie Menche and husband Tom Tucker of Fairfield, Ohio. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews that includes a devoted nephew, Larry (Diane) and a great niece, Angie and a dog, Oddie. Mr. McGuire was a skilled carpenter and before his retirement, worked for the Bill Weaver Construction Company. He enjoyed gardening. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Burial will be in the Fryman Family Cemetery on Big Brushy, Morehead, Kentucky, at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2008. Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals is caring for all arrangements.
