Wesley Charles "Wes" Wages, age 59, of Hungry Hollow, Morehead, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born April 12, 1961, in Maysville, he was a son of the late William "Bill" Wages and Alverta Musall Wages. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Wade Wages.

Wes is survived by one daughter, Sara Mason and husband Beau of Wanatah, Indiana; three brothers, William Allen and wife Belinda, Wayne Wages, Willard Wages and wife Stacy, all of Morehead; two sisters, Wilma Markwell and husband Anthony and Dianna Wages, all of Morehead.

Other survivors include several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family.

Wes was a former employee of Harold White Lumber Company.  He was an avid U.K. basketball fan, enjoyed fishing, and watching the History Chanel.  He greatly enjoyed being a jokester.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Jones Cemetery in Midland.
