Obituary

Walter Samuel Hart, age 64, of CCC Trail, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Born March 1, 1943, in Memphis, Tennessee, he was the son of the late William Thomas and Jessica Josephine Gorgan Hart. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Dunn Hart; four sons, Samuel Hart, Steve Hart, and Tim Hart, all of West Virginia, and James Miller, Jr., of Clay City, Kentucky; one brother, Harry Hart of West Virginia; and one sister, Margaret Smith of Kenova, West Virginia. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, Walter retired from Sealmaster after 21 years of service. Funeral services will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2007, at the Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Greg Whitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Crix Cemetery with full military rites conducted at the graveside by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126. Pallbearers will be Timothy Hart, Sammy Hart, James Manley, Daniel Butler, Joshua Branham, Justin McVey, and Steven Branham. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. Visitation: Friday, August 31, 2007, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Saturday, September 1, 2007, at 3:30 p.m. Interment: Crix Cemetery with Military Rites
