Wade L. Wages, Sr., age 58, of Baber-Wages-White Road, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born June 17, 1958, in Valparaiso, Indiana, he is the son of Alverta Musall Wages and the late William (Bill) Wages. Wade is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jeri White Wages, whom he wed February 14, 1976; one son, Wade Lee Wages II of Morehead; four grandchildren, three of whom he raised as his: Jordan, Victoria, and Austin of Morehead and Rylan of Sandy Hook. One great granddaughter, Alania Wages, preceded him in death. He also leaves behind his mother, Alverta Wages; two sisters, Wilma and Buck Markwell and Dianna Lynn Wages; four brothers, Billy and Belinda Wages, Willard and Stacy Wages, Wesley Wages, and Wayne Wages, all of Morehead; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Anna White of Morehead; his Leggett & Platt family; and many other family and friends whom he loved. Wade was an employee of Leggett & Platt in Winchester for 41 ½ years. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and hunting, and UK basketball and football. He was a member of the Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bill Compton and Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Pallbearers: Carl White, Ronnie White, Don White, Bill Wages, Willard Wages, Wayne Wages, Wesley Wages, Anthony 'Buck' Markwell, Toby Bowling. Honorary pallbearers: Leggett & Platt employees Visitation is 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Friday, October 21, 2016, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Funeral: Saturday, October 22, 2016, 3 p.m., Northcutt & Son Memorial Chapel Interment: Sardis Cemetery
