Vivian Marie Spencer Morris, age 74, of Rawcel Heights, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. She was born January 28, 1935, in Lee County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of Jess and Lora Spencer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Morris, on February 2, 2007, and her son, Butch Morris, in 1993. She is survived by two daughters, Louise Mabry and husband Everett of Wallingford, Kentucky, and Loretta Williams and husband Rufus of Morehead, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Kenny Morris, Kinder Henderson, Rufina Back, and Kathy Watson; and five great grandchildren, Derrick Morris, Kennedy Back, Alaina Back, Isaac Watson, and Alexandria Gail Henderson. Mrs. Morris was a homemaker and member of the Sharkey Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Herb Hyatt, Rodney Gregory, Bobby Davis, Mark Lewis, John Tucker, Tim Back, and Frank Mabry.
