Virginia Ann Cartmill Willeroy, age 71, of Double Tree Court, Mt. Sterling, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at her residence with family by her side. Born October 3, 1943, in Mt. Sterling, she was the daughter of the late James and Gladys Toy Cartmill. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Myers, Mary Hawkins, and Patricia Williams, and one brother, James Cartmill, Jr. Her husband, John William Willeroy, passed away April 29, 2006. Mrs. Willeroy is survived by one son, Eric Willeroy of Bloomington, Indiana; one daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Tommie Fern of Nicholasville; three brothers, Shirley Cartmill, Jerry Cartmill, and Robert Cartmill, all of Mt. Sterling; and one grandson, John Parker Willeroy. Mrs. Willeroy was a retired cosmetologist and former owner of Styles Unlimited in Mt. Sterling. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her 8-year-old grandson, John Parker Willeroy. Visitation is 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, April 23, 2015, at Spring Street Baptist Church in Mt. Sterling. Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon at the church with the Rev. Michael Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Pallbearers: Barry Williams, Greg Cartmill, Jamie Cartmill, Dickie Hawkins, Wendell Brooks, and Shawn Elam. Honorary pallbearers: Robert Cartmill, Jerry Cartmill, Shirley Cartmill, and Danny Williams. Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Morehead, Kentucky. Visitation: Thursday, April 23, 2015, 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon Funeral: Thursday, April 23, 2015, at 12 noon, at Spring Street Baptist Church Interment: Machpelah Cemetery
