Vinson Anthony -Tony- Lands, age 67, of Yarber Way, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. He was born February 27, 1941, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Boone and Rora Kissinger Lands. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis Lands and Lunsford Lands, and one sister, Hildreth Reed. Tony is survived by one son, Troy Lands and wife Krista of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren, A. J. Lands and Brent Lands of Cincinnati, Ohio; and special companion, Linda Smith of Morehead, Kentucky. Also surviving are two brothers, Ray Votaw of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, and Leon Lands of Sumpter, South Carolina, and two sisters, Vivian Coffman of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Dorothy Reeser of LaGrange, Kentucky. Tony was retired from General Motors in Cincinnati, Ohio. There will be no visitation or service. Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
