Vijay Patel, age 57, of Bratton Branch, Morehead, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at the Life Care Center in Morehead. Born May 15, 1961, in Lusaka, Zambia, he is the son of Chandrakant V. and Kapila C. Patel of Houston, TX. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Chetan V. Patel and Neal V. Patel, and one sister, Yogini Patel, all of Houston, TX. Vijay attended the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX, and was an entrepreneur. He had lived in the Morehead area for the past several years. A sports enthusiast, he enjoyed playing cricket, badminton and volleyball.
