Victor Raymond McKenzie, age 77, of Naples, Florida, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at the Naples Community Hospital. Born May 3, 1931, in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Carl and Eve Pitts McKenzie. He is survived by three children, Lonnie Keith McKenzie, Brian McKenzie, and Debbie Kay McKenzie, all of Middletown, Ohio; one sister, Essie Lovely and husband Rev. Bernard Lovely of Morehead, Kentucky; and five grandchildren. Mr. McKenzie served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and was a retired union carpenter. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ben Furman and the Rev. Lowell Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Seth Richardson, John Holbrook, Brian McKenzie, Lance Lovely, Eric Lovely, Samuel Hargis, and David Lovely.
