Vickie Lynn Murphy, age 64, of Treadway Drive, Owingsville, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at her son's residence.

Born April 7, 1956, in Clay County, Vickie was a daughter of the late James Burchell Murphy and Lillian Louise Purvis. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Lynn Montjoy, and a sister, Mary Rose Murphy.

She is survived by one son, Johnny Montjoy and wife LaRanda of Owingsville; three brothers, Troy Graziani and Tommy Graziani, both of Owingsville, and James Michael Murphy of Morehead; two sisters, Ruth Ann Mullins of Owingsville and Irma Sue Robison of Winchester; four grandchildren, Katlyn Crouch, Kelsey, Chloe, and Ryleigh Montjoy, all of Owingsville; several nieces and nephews and special friends.

Vickie was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Peasticks. She loved to praise the Lord all the time. She was a caregiver for many years always trying to take care of everyone around her.  Vickie enjoyed anything to do with serving the Lord and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
