Verlin Phillip Davis, age 73, of Mynhier Road, Morehead, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020, at his residence.

Born June 6, 1947, in Olive Hill, he was a son of the late Dewey Austin Davis and Myrle Marie Hargett Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Julie Jett Davis, and a daughter, Kelly Jo Lucas.

Phillip is survived by three sons, Austin Phillip Davis of Morehead, and Justin Dakota Farris Davis and Steve Nichols, both of Olive Hill; four brothers, Jeffery Davis, Wendell Davis, and Randy Davis, all of Olive Hill, and Austin Davis of Ohio; one sister, Irma Thomas of Morehead; and four grandchildren.

Phillip served in the U. S. Army and was a self-employed brick layer.  He enjoyed spending time with his family.

At Phillip's request, there will be no visitation or service.
