Valerie Kay Lawhorn Stevens, age 43, of Conyers Way, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Born February 21, 1968, in Ashland, Kentucky, she is the daughter of Glen Edward and Frances Kay Prichard Lawhorn of Grahn, Kentucky. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Mickey Stevens; two sons, Josh Conn and Brenda Cook of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Mickey Aaron Stevens of Morehead, Kentucky; two daughters, Brittney Frazier and Josh Holbrook of Lawton, Kentucky, and Amber Stevens of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; and two grandchildren, Dennis Ray Holbrook and Ella Lee Conn. She is also survived by three sisters, Annette Holbrook and Eddie of Grahn, Kentucky, Debbie Lawhorn of Boyd County, Kentucky, and Barbara Coons of Olive Hill, Kentucky, as well as several nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Valerie was a Home Health employee at St. Claire Regional Medical Center for the past 11 years. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. and Philip Littleton officiating. Burial will follow in New Alfrey Cemetery. Pallbearers: Clyde Mabry, Garrett Weaver, Randy Weaver, Johnny Killen, Greg Cox, and Philip Littleton.
