Vada Little Sargent, age 75, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away August 13, 2021, at her home.

Born June 18, 1946, in Jackson, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Ruby Spencer and James Little.

Vada is survived by one son, Richard Sargent and wife Briana of Charlotte, North Carolina; one daughter, Patricia Charlton and husband Douglas of Springboro, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Austen Sargent, Kirsten Charlton, and Darren Charlton, as well as extended family and many lifelong friends.

Vada was an employee of Dayton Progress Tool & Dye in Dayton, Ohio, for many years.  When she moved to Morehead, she became an excellent caregiver who was known to be professional and loyal to the families she served. Most of all, she adored her children and grandchildren and loved them with all of her heart.  She will be greatly missed and always remembered with love.

A gathering for family and friends will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.   A celebration of life will begin immediately following at 5 p.m. Thursday.
