Trina Marie Gibbs, age 57, of Morehead, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at UK-St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

She was born March 13, 1969, in Chillicothe, Ohio, a daughter of the late Arlie Gibbs and Hildreth "Sally" Fraley Gibbs. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Sue Gibbs.

Trina is survived by daughters Samantha Gibbs (Dakota Prince) and Nakita Gibbs (Luke Rousseau) and two beautiful granddaughters Stella and Anastasia Rousseau.

Other survivors include brothers and sisters Billy Gibbs (Angela), Lisa Fraley, Charlene Purnell (Rick), Roger Gibbs (Debra), Wendall Gibbs, Beatrice Gibbs, Charles Gibbs, and Frank Ray Gibbs and nieces and nephews. Trina was a former employee of St. Claire Regional Medical Center. She loved spending time with family--especially her two granddaughters-- reading, and fishing. She was the Facebook and Google queen. Trina will be lovingly remembered by family and friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a celebration of life service beginning at 1 p.m. with Brother Willie Skaggs, Jr., officiating.  Burial will follow in the Fraley Cemetery on Kegley Ridge in Rowan County.
