Treda Parish Vise, age 83, of Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014, at the residence of her daughter. Born May 28, 1930, in Elliott County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William and Hosanna Holbrook Parish. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Burl, and Dee Parish, and two sisters, Nola Faye Sorrell and her twin sister, Freda 'Jackie' Thompson. Treda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Olen Newman Vise, whom she wed December 23, 1959; one son, Tim O. Vise and wife Carolyn; one daughter, Janie Pease and husband David; one sister, Christine Parish Royse, all of Hillsboro, Kentucky; and one very special granddaughter, Sarah Jane Pease. Mrs. Vise was a homemaker and a member of the Ringo Mills United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at the Hutton Funeral Home with the Rev. Gaylord Gillispie and Rev. James DeAtley officiating. Burial will follow at the Hillsboro Cemetery. Pallbearers: Billy Lawson Thompson, Johnny Lowell Thompson, Danny Wayne Thompson, Sean Johnson, Sherman Royse, Artie Parish, Jack Vise.
