Treasa Ann Goodan Blankenship, age 58, of Olive Hill, went home to be with the Lord peacefully Saturday, August 22, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 28, 1968, in Rowan County, Kentucky, she was the cherished daughter of Edward “Eddie” Goodan and Joan Tabor Goodan of Olive Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brain Keith Blankenship, who passed away on February 11, 2010; paternal grandparents, Beckham Goodan and Oney Bego Goodan; maternal grandparents, James Morehead Tabor and Ruth Velma Barker Belcher; and her nephew, Jarrod Mitchell Lawhorn.
In addition to her father and mother, Eddie and Joan, Treasa is survived by four siblings, Allen (Amy) Goodan of Elliott County, Timmy (Dorothy) Goodan of Olive Hill, Michelle (Johnnny) Bowling of Lewis County, and Brittany (Torsie) King of Olive Hill.
She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Brett Alan Goodan, Rachael (Bradley) Wolfe, Alea (Blade) Sloan, Alyssa Jade Sloan, Amia Sky Sloan, Amyah Rayne Sloan, Ava Lee King, Darrin Torsie King, Jayla Renne King; one great niece, Millie Nicole; a special friend, Beth Ruley; and other extended family and friends.
Treasa was a woman of deep faith and a member of the Mills Branch Apostolic Church in Olive Hill. She found immense joy in the simple and beautiful things in life, crocheting, crafting and filling her home with warm comfort in home cooked meals and baked goods. Above all else, Treasea treasured time spent with her family. She had a heart made for fellowship and deeply loved her church, finding a true second family within her congregation. Her kindness, warm spirit, and devotion to those around her leave a legacy in the hearts who knew her.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Mills Branch Apostolic Church with Pastor Austin Collins and Elder Joe Ruley officiating. Interment will follow in the Stegall Cemetery on Lost Hills Road in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Mills Branch Apostolic Church 376 Mills Branch Road, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Ruley, Johnny Bowling, Ricky Gee, Blake Boggs, Torsie King, Jonathan Reynolds and Blade Fannin. Honorary pallbearers will be Timmy Goodan, Allen Goodan, Johnny Oliver, Scotty Lawhorn and all her church family.
