Travis William Cantrell, age 33, of Old 801 North, Morehead, was born August 22, 1990, in Morehead, and passed away Friday, May 31, 2024, at his residence.

He is survived by his mother, Teresa Riley Kissick and stepfather Gary Kissick of Morehead; his stepmother, Daisy Cantrell of West Liberty; two half-sisters, Cindy Lawson of Morehead and Savannah Cantrell of West Liberty; as well as numerous uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

Travis was preceded in death by his father, Kenny Cantrell; maternal grandparents, Boyd and Gwandaline Kissick Riley; and paternal grandparents, Clarence and Georgeann Young Cantrell.

Travis was a timber cutter and mechanic. He enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing, hunting, and visiting with family and friends.  He will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Evangelist Paul Roe and Gary Riley officiating.  Burial will follow in Garvin Ridge Cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation for Travis William Cantrell will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
