Tina "Faye" Anderson, age 84, of Rock Fork Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024, at NHC in Johnson City, TN.

Faye was born on May 08, 1940, in Morehead, Kentucky, to the late Clella "Ted" Sparkman and Hattie Neal Sparkman. She was the youngest of five children; four preceded her in death, tragically lost during the flood of 1939 in Morehead, KY.

Faye married the late Willie Thomas Anderson, Jr. (Bill) on April 5th, 1958.  They were happily married for 56 years.  Their pride and joy were their only son, Willie Thomas Anderson, III.

Faye, a woman of immense love and care, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her nurturing nature was evident in her love for the Anderson Family Farm in Morehead, where she delighted to watch baby calves grow in the fields.  Her passions for quilting and canning were a testament to her love for her family, as she crafted many beautiful quilts and ensured her son and grandchildren never left without several cases of her canned goods.

Faye leaves behind a legacy of love and family. She is survived by her son, Dr. Willie T Anderson, III, and his wife, Jenny Anderson; three grandchildren, Nicholas (Mary), Brendan (Raynie), and Kenneth; and three great-grandchildren, Tristan, Akira, and Calvin. Her extended family, including numerous nieces and nephews, and Christine Anderson, the mother of her cherished grandchildren, also mourns her loss.

Visitation for Faye Anderson will be Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Northcutt Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.  A graveside service will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. at the Anderson Cemetery, Rock Fork Road, Morehead, with Pastor Glenda Pettit officiating.
