Timothy Andrew Boyd, age 58, of Rock Fork Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 12, 2026, at UK-St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

He was born March 5, 1968, in Rowan County, a son of the late Andrew Wesley Boyd and Revena Davis Boyd.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Wesley Eugene Boyd; and three sisters, JoAnn Len White, Andrea Kay McGayha and Tammy Lea Messer.

Timothy is survived by his loving wife, Mary Beth Pence, whom he wed December 25, 1987; two sons, Timothy Andrew Boyd, Jr. and fiancée Ashley Horn of Mt. Sterling and Joseph and Sierra Boyd of Morehead; two daughters, Sarah Jane Boyd and Waylon Brown of Morehead and Whitley Callahan of Mt. Sterling; and six grandchildren, Brooklyn Boyd, Mallary Boyd, Makayla Rogers, Madison Horn, Ashlynn Boyd, and Leeann Ballard.

Other survivors to cherish his memory include two brothers, Michael Shadrach and Nancy Boyd and Phillip Wayne and Tonya Boyd, all of Richmond, and two sisters, Donna Andrea Tackett and Vicki Lynn Ingle, both of Morehead, as well as nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

Timothy was a former employee of Save-A-Lot and Food Lion, both in Morehead. He enjoyed riding horses when his health allowed, watching all types of racing, and spending time watching television. Above all, he cherished time with his family and creating special memories with those he loved. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Larry Hamm officiating.  Burial will follow in the Boyd Family Cemetery (Boyd Cemetery Road) in Morehead.

Pallbearers:  Timothy Andrew Boyd, Jr., Joseph Boyd, Desmond Christian, Heath Loper, Donnie Oppenheimer, Benny Stamper, and Kent Logan.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
