Tilman "Tim" McBrayer, age 84, of Enola, Pennsylvania, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022, at UPMC West Shore Hospital in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
He was born April 16, 1938, in South Solon, Ohio, and was a son of the late Bert McBrayer and Alta Lambert McBrayer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three daughters, Teresa Kim McBrayer, Sharon Charles, and Patricia Lynn "Patty" McBrayer; four brothers, Arthur McBrayer, Bert McBrayer, Jr., Lenvil McBrayer, and Richard McBrayer; and step mother, Mary McBrayer.
Tim is survived by his wife of 23 years, Eleanor W. Sporik McBrayer; one son, John Mark McBrayer of Morehead, Kentucky; one step son, Frank Wise of Marysville, Pennsylvania; one step daughter, Beth Ann Wise of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Robert Collins, Mark Anthony McBrayer, Jessica Sholars, and Rebecca Charles; and six great grandchildren, Caleb, Kylie, Bentley, Cash, Olivia, and Waylon; one brother, Emil McBrayer of Layton, Utah; two sisters, Janet Dulin of Bozeman, Montana, and Naomi Thomas of Winchester, Virginia; other relatives and many friends.
He was a U. S. Air Force veteran, a retired driver for UPS, and a former police officer for the City of Morehead. Tim was an avid golfer and loved to play pool and was known as the maestro by his fellow seniors at the Senior Center in Enola.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tim Rhodes and Pastor Willie Sturgill officiating. The funeral will be livestreamed at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals beginning at 3 p.m. Burial will follow in McBrayer Cemetery with full military honors by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals,400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
