Obituary

Thomas Ray 'Tommy' Mynhier, age 70, of Mountainside Drive, Morehead, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016, at his home. Born November 21, 1945, in Middletown, Ohio, he was a son of the late Haskel and Annie Mae McIntosh Mynhier. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Mynhier; one brother, Willie Gross; and two sisters, Printha May Stapleton and Roberta Hardin. Tommy is survived by his wife, Margaret Wallace Mynhier; three sons, Thomas Andrew (Christy) Mynhier and Ricky Joe Mynhier, all of Morehead and Benjamin Mynhier of Lexington; two daughters, Sara Margaret (Patrick Ray) Kinney of Vanceburg and Robin Ann (Dusty) Howard of Morehead; brother and sister, Calvin Mynhier and Julie Sexton, both of Morehead; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was a retired logger and enjoyed watching television, gardening, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Calvin Mynhier officiating. Burial will follow in Wallace Cemetery. Pallbearers: Thomas Mynhier, Benjamin Mynhier, Ricky Mynhier, John Mynhier, Calvin Mynhier, and Nathan Hunter. Visitation is from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
