Thomas Allen Mabry, age 52, of Open Fork Road, Morehead, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born February 27, 1962, in Columbus, Ohio, he is the son Omer A. Mabry and his wife Guyan Sloan Mabry of Morehead and the late Maxine Adkins Scott. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Smedley, and half-brother, Rodney Conn. Also surviving are two sisters, Judy Diane Winkle and husband Terry and Shawna Mabry Blundell, all of Morehead; two brothers, Wayne Mabry of Clearfield and Marvin Mabry of Johnson County; two half-brothers, Randy Adkins and Charles Michael Scott, both of Dayton, Ohio; one half-sister, Angela Scott of Dayton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Allen was a laborer for Local #189 and enjoyed carpentry and mechanics. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Don Rivers officiating. Burial will follow in the Nickell Cemetery on KY 173. Pallbearers: Eddie Gearheart, Allen Lelesch, Wayne Mabry, Jesse Burton, Marvin Mabry, Dakota Mabry, and Chris Pettit.
