Thomas Elwood Curtis, age 50, of Rice Lane, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 12, 2008, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born October 28, 1958, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he is the son of the late Elwood and Donna Cole Curtis. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Terry Curtis, on July 28, 2000. Tommy is survived by one son, Matthew Curtis of Morehead, Kentucky; one brother, Stanley Curtis of Morehead, Kentucky; and three sisters, Patti Kidd and Connie Frazier, both of Morehead, Kentucky, and Susan Bragg of Sharpsburg, Kentucky. Tommy was a former employee of Weaver Lumber Company. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Robert Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in the Eldridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dewayne McElhaney, Scott Frazier, Dennis Bragg, Brock Moore, Arvil Brown, and Kenny McClurg.
