Thelma Pauline Whipkey Welch, age 87, a resident of Northfork Senior Living in Morehead, passed away Monday, August 3, 2020, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born May 18, 1933, in Connersville, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Lillian Whipkey.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers.

Mrs. Welch is survived by one son, Clarence Wayne Bell of Morehead; one daughter, Patricia White of Cloudcroft, NM; seven grandchildren; extended family and friends.

At her request, no services are planned.
