Obituary

Thelma Ruth Clark Branham, age 82, of Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013, at her residence. Born January 6, 1931, in Rowan County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Dorothy Pauley Clark. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Inez Waltz and Eula Plank, and two brothers, Clyde Clark and Kenneth Clark. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ivan Eugene Branham, whom she married November 6, 1955; two brothers, Alvin Wayne Clark of Farmers, Kentucky, and Elmer Rutherford Clark of Lewisburg, Kentucky; one sister, Norma Archer of Morehead, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends. Ruth retired from Morehead State University following 24 years of service and worked at Cowden's Manufacturing for 17 years. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Hutton Funeral Home with Elder Cephas Littleton officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harold Humphries, Mark Clark, Dallas Plank, Jackie Plank, Danny Archer, Billy Plank, and Rodney Plank. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Hutton Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
