Teddy Wayne Day, age 62, of Cranston Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at his residence. He was born September 18, 1950, in Campton, Kentucky, a son of Geneva Koger King of Morehead, Kentucky, and the late J. C. Day. In addition to his mother, Teddy is survived by one daughter, Barbie Rondeau of Missouri; five sisters, Nadine Reedy and Chloie Hall, both of Morehead, Kentucky, Faith Layne of Frenchburg, Kentucky, Lolita Blair of Alton, Illinois, and April Boggs of Cumberland, Kentucky; five brothers, Ronnie Day of Tallahassee, Florida, Johnny Blair of St. Louis, Mississippi, Lonnie Lewis of Washington State, Danny Blair of Alton, Illinois, and Dwayne Day of Campton, Kentucky; and three granddaughters. Other survivors include aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by a special uncle, Kelly Koger, and a special niece, Crystal Turner. Teddy was a self-employed construction worker and loved to fish. He was of the Apostolic faith. Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2013, at the Hazel Green Cemetery in Wolfe County with Pastor Scott Tipton officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
