Obituary

Teddy Wayne Day, age 62, of Cranston Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at his residence. He was born September 18, 1950, in Campton, Kentucky, a son of Geneva Koger King of Morehead, Kentucky, and the late J. C. Day. In addition to his mother, Teddy is survived by one daughter, Barbie Rondeau of Missouri; five sisters, Nadine Reedy and Chloie Hall, both of Morehead, Kentucky, Faith Layne of Frenchburg, Kentucky, Lolita Blair of Alton, Illinois, and April Boggs of Cumberland, Kentucky; five brothers, Ronnie Day of Tallahassee, Florida, Johnny Blair of St. Louis, Mississippi, Lonnie Lewis of Washington State, Danny Blair of Alton, Illinois, and Dwayne Day of Campton, Kentucky; and three granddaughters. Other survivors include aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by a special uncle, Kelly Koger, and a special niece, Crystal Turner. Teddy was a self-employed construction worker and loved to fish. He was of the Apostolic faith. Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2013, at the Hazel Green Cemetery in Wolfe County with Pastor Scott Tipton officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until noon Sunday, August 18, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
