Sylvia J. Korakas Fultz, age 80, of Airport Road, Morehead, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013, at Life Care Center of Morehead. She was born January 22, 1933, in Toledo, Ohio, a daughter of the late Gust Korakas and Alice Johnson Korakas. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother, Jean Perry, Rose Zervos, Betty Kohler, and Gus Korakas; and one daughter, Billie Jo Carroll. She is survived by nine children, Diana (Lawrence) Ball, Gloria Kidwell, Paul (Lois) Carroll, Richard (Lori) Carroll, Barbara (Henry) Harmon, and Dennis Carroll, all of Morehead, Kentucky, Michael (Penny) Carroll, of Toledo, Ohio, Terry(Melinda) Carroll of Genoa, Ohio, and Sandy Boisselle of Oregon, Ohio; 22 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by nine brothers and sisters, Ann Korakas of Grosse Isle, Michigan, George Korakas, Larry Korakas, and Karen Korakas, all of Toledo, Ohio, Jerry Korakas of Holland, Ohio, John Miller of Citrus Heights, California, Jack Korakas of Prescott, Arizona, Millie White of Perrysburg, Ohio, and Judy Foley of Sylvania, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sylvia was a devoted mother and grandmother, a homemaker, and a wonderful person to everyone. She enjoyed Bingo, dancing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with Brother Gerald Saunders officiating. Burial will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at Blairs Mill Cemetery. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
