Summer Brittani Hesterberg White Barker, age 45, of Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Born on April 13, 1981, in Lexington, Kentucky, Summer was the beloved daughter of Linda Conn of Paducah and Rick (Latonya) Hesterberg of Morehead.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Dustin Barker; her cherished children, Braxton Todd White and Harper Rayne White, both at home; her stepson, Dawson Barker of Morehead; and maternal grandmother, Jean Conn of Morehead. She is also survived by her brother, Tanner Hesterberg of Prestonsburg; sisters, Karlye Loy and Chelsea Jarvis, both of Paducah, and Brooklyn Leep of Lebanon; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Andrew Todd White; her maternal grandfather, Galen Conn; and her paternal grandmother, Janet Huffman.

A 1999 graduate of Rowan County Senior High School and a graduate of Morehead State University, Summer dedicated much of her professional life to helping others. She formerly served as director of Edgewater Recovery in Paducah.

Summer found joy in music, often listening to her favorite songs and occasionally playing the guitar. A talented gymnast, she also spent several years coaching and encouraging young athletes. Above all, Summer's greatest love was her family. She treasured her children and parents.

Though her time here was far too brief, Summer leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, strength, and compassion. Her memory will forever be treasured by those fortunate enough to know her, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who loved her.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ben Furman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Braxton White, Tanner Hesterberg, Johnny Leep, Clark Jarvis, Tyler Loy, and Jason Tackett.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
