Sue Combs Vaughn, age 64, of Johnson Flat Road, Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at her residence after an extended illness.

She was born July 12, 1959, in Leslie County, and was the daughter of the late Jimmie and Ethel Shell Combs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ray Combs, Jimmie Combs, and Danny Combs; one sister, Shirley Faye Combs Caudill; and two special Pomeranians, Coco and Angel.

Sue is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Donald Vaughn; a step son, Ronnie Vaughn and wife Jamie of Sandy Hook; a step grandson, Tyler Vaughn; two sisters-in-law, Linda Miller of Morehead and Ann Fraley of Sandy Hook; her beloved Pomeranian "Sissy"; and other extended family and friends.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and loved her flowers.

At her request, no services will be held.  Private inurnment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
