In loving memory of Steven Darrell Martin, age 65, of Mt. Sterling, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 10, 2024.

Steve was born on November 21, 1958, in Mt. Sterling, to the late Joshua Turner Martin and Callie Martin. Steve was a hardworking individual and dedicated owner of Martin Home Improvements for 32 years. He was a member of Jeffersonville Assembly of God for 40 years.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen Martin of Mt. Sterling; two daughters, Erica (Brandon) Snowden of Mt. Sterling, and Whitley (Nathan) Sowell of Lexington; two grandchildren, Braxton Martin Snowden and Olivia Blake Sowell; four siblings, Gerald (Elsie) Martin, Connie Diane (David) Campbell, Joyce (Gerald) Strange, and Richard Martin.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Joshua Turner Martin and Callie Martin; brothers, Phillip Wayne Martin (Vicky Martin) and Donald Ray Martin; father-in-law, JB Mullins; mother-in-law, Katherine Mullins; and brother-in-law, R.C. Mullins.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Jeffersonville Assembly of God, 7220 Main Street, Jeffersonville, KY 40337. Friends are welcome to visit from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2024, at Jeffersonville Assembly of God with Pastor Robbie Conn and Pastor David Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Machpelah Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Snowden, Nathan Sowell, Kenny Mullins, Christopher Mullins, Hershell Slone, Randall Campbell, and Jeffrey Strange.

Honorary pallbearers are Gerald Strange, Gerald Martin, and Richard Martin.
