Obituary

Steven Wayne Cundiff, age 54, of Soldier, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, at Perkins Country Manor in Augusta, Kentucky.

He was born March 26, 1970, in Rowan County, KY, a son of Larry Gale and Debbie Black Cundiff.

Steven is survived by his mother, Debbie Black Cundiff of Morehead, Kentucky; two sons, Josh Cundiff (Samantha) of Morehead, Kentucky, and Brendon Cundiff (Chyna) of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and five grandchildren, Kensi, Callen, Emma, Piper, and Oliver Cundiff.

Others to cherish his memory include one sister, Lora Stamper; one niece, Holly Ison (Josh); and one great nephew, Jason Ison, all of Morehead, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Gale Cundiff, maternal and paternal grandparents, and a great nephew, Mason Ison.

Steven loved his family and especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play.  He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals (400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351).  A graveside service will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the Bradley Cemetery (Soldier, KY) with Brother Clifford "Tippy" Price and Brother Kevin Brown officiating.

Pallbearers: Josh Cundiff, Brendon Cundiff, Phillip Black, Josh Ison, Danny Cline, Jr., and Danny Cline III.

Honorary pallbearers:  Kevin Brown, Brian Brown, and Mark Adkins.
