Stephen Jay Goldberg, age 83, of Crestview Lane, Morehead, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025.

Born March 17, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Harry Goldberg and Bess Rosen Goldberg.

Steve is survived by two sons, Howard Goldberg and wife Carol of Morehead, Kentucky, and Bradley Goldberg and wife Candice of Durango, Colorado; one sister, Bobbie Sue Procyk of Jupiter, Florida; two grandchildren, Hayden Goldberg and Max Goldberg; and many friends.

Steve served in the U.S. Air Force and was the owner and operator of Stephen's Auto Sales in Morehead. He previously owned Stephen's Clothing Store. Steve was a former Morehead City Council member and served on the Kentucky Motor Vehicle Commission.

He enjoyed working, fast cars, boating, fishing, and good food. Steve will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of laughter, love, and selflessness will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Keith McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers:  Howard Goldberg, Hayden Goldberg, Brad Goldberg, Edward McNeal, John Eldridge, and Eric Robinson.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Northcutt& Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
