Obituary

Stacey Lynn Willenbrink, age 35, of Ambassador Drive, Grayson, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017, at the U. K. Medical Center in Lexington after a courageous battle with cancer. Born November 17, 1981, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Shelia Raye Prichard Jessie. She is survived by her fiancé, John Cooksey of Grayson; step father, Coy (Joyce) Jessie of Olive Hill; two children, George Stewart 'Stewie' Cox and Melanie Cox; two step children, Kyle Cooksey and Carlea Cooksey, all at home; one step brother, Jamie Jessie of Olive Hill; three step sisters, Lisa Skaggs and Kim Huff, both of Olive Hill and Nancy Riggs of Elliott County; and several aunts, uncles, and extended family members. Stacey graduated from West Carter High School in 2000 and was currently attending Ashland Community and Technical College majoring in education. She was a former employee at K-Mart and attended the Stinson Church of Christ. Stacey enjoyed being in the outdoors, fishing, playing sports, and spending time with her family and friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Minister Tim Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in C & S Pallet Cemetery in Olive Hill. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
