Shirley Ann Humphries, age 70, of Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012, at the U. K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Born July 17, 1941, in Fleming County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Luther James and Emma Mae Saunders Humphries. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Lewis Humphries. Shirley is survived by five brothers and sisters-in-law, James Paul and Phyllis Humphries, William Earl and Bonnie Humphries, Harold Ray and Betty Humphries, and Nelson Wayne and Eloise Humphries, all of Hillsboro, Kentucky, and Noel Lee and Jane Humphries of Milford, Ohio, several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Shirley was a retired employee of U.S. Shoe in Flemingsburg and enjoyed spending time with her family. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at the Hutton Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Crouch officiating. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Cemetery. Pallbearers: Scott Harbor, Scott Williams, Travis Humphries, Jimmy Humphries, Chad Humphries, Jared Muse, Cory Harbor, and Curtis Williams. Visitation will be 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at the Hutton Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Kentucky.
