Obituary

Sherry Lynn Lambert Harris, age 52, of Cranston Road, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at her residence. She was born January 13, 1962, in Morehead, a daughter of Nancy Plank Lambert of Morehead and the late Bobby Dean Lambert. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Allison McKenzie Hamilton; paternal grandparents, Andy and Lula Baldridge Lambert, and maternal grandparents, Luke and Eula Clark Plank. In addition to her mother, Sherry is survived by one son, Joseph Lee Flatt of Morehead; two daughters, Jessica Lynn Cropper and husband Jarrod of Tollesboro and Jodi Leigh Jackson and husband Jim of Jamestown, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Mason, Lucas, Patrick, Charlie, Cory and Robert Flatt and John Jackson; one sister, Tawni Rae Donahue and husband Tim of Morehead; one brother, Bobby Dean 'Bo' Lambert II and wife Leigh Ann of Morehead, special friend, Joe Harris; one niece and one nephew; aunts and uncles; and other extended family members. Sherry graduated from Madison Heights High School in Anderson, Indiana. She attended Maysville Technical and Community College and Morehead State University earning an Associate Degree. Her more than twenty years in nursing included the Life Care Center and St. Claire Regional Medical Center, both in Morehead and Pioneer Trace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Flemingsburg. Sherry enjoyed her family, the outdoors, and her dogs and horses. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Ison and Brother Philip Cropper officiating. Visitation is after 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
