Sheila Kaye Brown Lewis, age 57, of Kentre Lane, Morehead, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born January 19, 1966, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late Willis and Helen Conley Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Luther "Buckeye" Brown, Donald Brown, Randy Brown, and Roger Brown, and three sisters, Joyce Ann Webb, Judy Parks, and Rita Brown.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, James Lewis, whom she married September 6, 1997; a niece she and James raised and considered as a daughter, Haley Henderson of Mt. Sterling; two sisters, Janet P'Simer of Olive Hill and Tammy Brown of Morehead; a special sister-in-law, Georgine Brown of Lexington, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.

Sheila was a 1984 graduate of West Carter High School and was a former cook at the Clearfield Elementary School, a manager of Subway, and an employee at Arby's. She enjoyed four-wheeling and spending time with family and friends. Sheila will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Herbert D. Lewis officiating.   Burial will follow in Ditney Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scotty P'Simer, Kevin Brown, Brian Brown, Aaron Watson, Jordan Brown, and Allen Workman.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
