Shawna Lynn Wilder, age 48, of East Stone Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018, at her residence after an extended illness. Born November 4, 1969, in Morehead, she is the daughter of Sherry Williams Wilder of Sandy Hook and the late Bill Roy Wilder. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, William Paul Wilder. In addition to her mother, Shawna is survived by her companion, Joseph R. Hamm; one son, Channing Plank of Hillsboro; two daughters, Hallie Plank Hall of Hillsboro and Jenna Plank of Owensboro, Kentucky; two brothers, Walter Wilder and Michael Wilder, both of Elliott County; four sisters, Machelle Taylor of Union, Kentucky, Stacie Savage of Mt. Sterling, Laken Wilder of Sandy Hook and Tia Wilder of Morehead; one special granddaughter, LeeLah Hall. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family. Shawna graduated from Elliott County High School and attended Morehead State University. She was a former employee of McDonalds and Hardees in Morehead. She enjoyed arts and crafts, making hair bows for her granddaughter, and listening to music. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Charles Gilley, Bill Bolen, Danny Knipp, James Fannin, Homer Mabry, Rufus Williams and Jimmy Epperhart. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, September 17, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
