Shaun Michael Brown, age 9, of Ringos Mill Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Monday, October 19, 2009, at the Children-s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Shaun was born April 1, 2000, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and is the son of Kenneth Wayne Brown of Owingsville, Kentucky and Cindy Lynn Nickell of Hillsboro, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by twin brothers, Samuel and Nathaniel Brown. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers, James, Stephen, and David Marx all at home; one sister, Samantha Marx at home; maternal grandparents, Porter and Marilyn Brown Nickell of Wallingford, Kentucky; paternal grandparents, Everett and Alice Kimble Brown of Owingsville, Kentucky; and stepfather, Samuel Marx of Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Shaun was a student at Hillsboro Elementary School. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Earl Nickell, Jr., Jameson Skaggs, Craig Comer, and Eric Perry. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Cassidy, Christian Cassidy, Earl Nickell, Sr., William Nickell, Porter Nickell, Daniel Brown, Samuel Marx, Everett Brown, and Nathon Maggard.
