Sharon Gregory Skinner, age 38, of North Wilson Avenue, Morehead, Kentucky, wife of Patrick Skinner, air medical pilot for P.H.I., passed away Monday, June 1, 2009, at her residence after a seven-month battle with cancer. Born March 11, 1971, in New Prague, Minnesota, Sharon is the daughter of Walter and Carol Kopoitzke Gregory of Slayton, Minnesota. Sharon and Patrick were married on November 25, 1995, and are the parents of five children, all at home: Elizabeth, Luke, Grace, John Paul, and Andrew. Other survivors include one brother, Walter Gregory, Jr. of Marshall, Minnesota; one sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Craig Morris of Chaska, Minnesota; and two nephews, Eric Schmidt and Kyle Morris. Sharon graduated from Slayton High School in Minnesota and attended Huron University in South Dakota. She and Patrick relocated with P.H.I. to Morehead from Madisonville, Kentucky, three years ago. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, Sharon enjoyed living life to the fullest. She loved her children unconditionally and was instrumental in their educational development by homeschooling them. A devout lifelong member of the Catholic faith, she was a member of Jesus Our Savior Catholic Church. A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at Jesus Our Savior Catholic Church with the Rev. Paul Prabell officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Jordan, Minnesota. Pallbearers will be Steve Marcus, Mike Orr, Nick Hammonds, Gregg Gullett, Billy Marsh, and Gregg Gray. Visitation for Sharon Skinner is after 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. A Rosary Service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. Visitation: Tuesday, June 2, 2009, 5 p.m.; Rosary Service, 8 p.m. Funeral: Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at 2 p.m. Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Jordan, Minnesota
