Sharon Sue Dehart Hitch, age 59, of Highway 173, Morehead, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at UK–St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born July 9, 1966, in Rowan County, and was the daughter of the late Harold Dillon and Linda Dehart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Bridgett Hitch.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Steve Hitch, whom she married July 18, 1981; two daughters, Jennifer Hitch of Richmond and Whitley Hitch (Tony Cutright) of Olive Hill; one brother, David Sloan of Morehead; and three cherished grandchildren, Madison Hitch, Andy Cutright, and Emmi Hitch.

She was a devoted homemaker and was of the Christian faith. Sharon enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

At her request, no visitation or services will be held.
