Sharon Lee Crawford Justice, age 72, of Big Elm Ridge, Morehead, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019, at Edgewood Estates in Frenchburg.

Born June 22, 1947, in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Marland L. Crawford and Doris June Crawford Coker.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Xavier Wayne Lowe, and a nephew, Joe David Crawford.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Daphne Justice Lowe and husband Sam, her grandson Zachary Lowe, and her sweetheart for more than 25 years, Darrel Barber, all of Morehead; her brothers, Bo Crawford and wife Betty of Lakeport, Florida, and John DeHarte and wife Mary Lou of Morehead; extended family and friends.

Sharon moved to Kentucky with her family when she was about five years of age and spent most of her life in the Morehead area.  She enjoyed her working years as a receptionist for Dr. Ken Smith, as owner and operator of Tropical Treasures, and as a bookkeeper for Wholesale Auto Parts, all in Morehead.  She also worked at Chef America and Hoffman Enclosures in Mt. Sterling.

Sharon was very creative and over the years enjoyed refinishing furniture, making flower arrangements, and crafting.    She especially enjoyed traveling with family and friends and vacationing in Tennessee.  Later in life, Sharon enjoyed watching television favorites such as I Love Lucy, the Beverly Hillbillies, and Reba.  She was a wonderful Mom and Nana and loved playing with her grandson and spending time with family.  She was a member of the Morehead United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, October 17, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Adam Eldridge officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
