Sharon Elaine Black Lowe, age 69, of West Lane, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at her residence.

Born September 3, 1953, in New Castle, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Curtis and Elsie Gregory Black.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Michael Lowe; one brother, Darrell Black; and two nephews, Phillip Black and Michael Lee Herron.

Sharon is survived by one daughter, Sherry Renee Lykins; a special grandson, Dylan Tyler Jones, both of Morehead; a great granddaughter, Rylee Nicole Jones of Georgetown, Ohio; two sisters, Carol Charles and husband Winford and Delinda Black Mains, all of Clearfield; two nieces, Amy Marie Meade and Kim Black; one nephew, Caleb Craft; a special cousin, Vickie Koch; and other extended family and friends.

Sharon was a homemaker and a former employee of Park Hills Grocery. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but especially her grandson and great granddaughter—they were the light of her eyes.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
