Gregory Shane Donathan, age 37, of Kiddville Road, Mt. Sterling, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022, at his home.

Born July 26, 1985, in Winchester, Shane is the son of Greg and Mary Ann Young Donathan of Mt. Sterling.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Erica Donathan; one daughter, Paislee Donathan; one brother, Justin Donathan (Kelley); two nieces, Makayla Donathan, Kinsley Donathan; maternal grandmother, Susie Young, all of Mt. Sterling; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Shane was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ewell and Carolyn Donathan, maternal grandfather, Ralph Young, and cousin, Brian Stewart.

Shane graduated from Montgomery County High School, Class of 2003, and worked in lawn care.

Visitation will be from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Christian Assembly of God, 1834 Owingsville Road, Mt. Sterling KY 40353.  A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Scott Barnes officiating.
