Serena Grace White, age 43, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born April 12, 1977, in Morehead, she is the daughter of Carol Susan Tapp White of Owingsville and the late Ronnie Mason White.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by one daughter, Alyssa Esteppe, and one son, Jacob T. Butler, both of Mt. Sterling, as well as other relatives and friends.

Serena graduated from Bath County High School and was a former server at Applebee's in Mt. Sterling and other restaurants in the area.  She was a very hard worker who—no matter what—always had a smile on her face. She was a wild, funny, and carefree spirit who knew just what to say to turn someone's frown into a smile.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020, at 4 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1954 KY-36, Owingsville, KY 40360.  Masks are required as well as maintaining a 6-foot distance from those outside your household.

COVID-19 regulations as set forth by the state will be followed.
