Scottie Edward Dunn, age 42 of Amarillo, Texas, formerly of Wolfe County, Kentucky, was killed in a horrific semi accident on Friday, October 21, 2022.

He was born August 20, 1980, in Lexington, Kentucky, and was the son of Garnett Jessie and the late Donald Jessie, and Allen and Sharmin Dunn.

In addition to his parents, Scottie is survived by his wife of eight years, Kristy Dunn; five children, Dylan Dunn, Dakota Dunn, Rowey Bias, Lexxa Bia, and Addison Bias; a brother, Steven Dunn and wife Serenity; a nephew, Hunter Dunn; a stepbrother, Kendall Jessie and Gina; his in-laws, James and Debbie McKay; and host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his stepdad, Donald Jessie; maternal grandparents, Edward and Loretta Gillum; and paternal grandparents, James and Hazel Dunn.

Scottie was known for his love of truck driving and watching UK Wildcats Basketball.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023, at his mother's home on 400 Robs Mountain Road, Clearfield, KY 40351 with a celebration of life immediately following at 1 p.m. with Brother Herbie Lewis and Brother Ronald Logan officiating.

Burial will follow in Cliffview Cemetery on Rob Mountain Road, Clearfield, KY.
