Scott Wayne Frye, Sr., age 52, of Hawk Haven Drive, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2008, at his residence. Born March 21, 1956, in Lexington, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Oscar Luther and Betty Jane Farris Frye. Scott is survived by his wife, Loretta Yarber Frye; four children, Joshua Frye and Lucy Frye, both at home, Scott Wayne Frye, Jr., of Western Kentucky; and Michelle Miskell of Tennessee; and one granddaughter, Zara Frye. Other survivors include one brother, Oscar Frye, III, of Lexington, Kentucky, and two sisters, Kathy Frye of Lexington, Kentucky, and Constance Catron of Cynthiana, Kentucky. Scott enjoyed farming, tinkering in his tool shed, and collecting model trains and oil lamps. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
