Sarah Jane Middleton Kegley, age 75, of Pear Drive, Olive Hill passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016, at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in West Liberty. Born December 2, 1940, at Gimlet in Elliott County, she was the daughter of the late James and Evelyn Carpenter Middleton. Her husband of 52 years, Cobern Lee Kegley, whom she married June 14, 1958, passed away on January 23, 2011. Mrs. Kegley is survived by two sons, Cobern Lee Kegley, Jr., and Nancy of Saline, Michigan, Ricky Allen Kegley and Cris of Olive Hill; one daughter, Wanda Jean Bossio and George of Olive Hill; four grandchildren, Carl Bossio, Brandon Kegley, Sarah Jones, and Daniel Kegley; and one great granddaughter, Clara Bossio. Other survivors include two brothers, James Middleton and Stanley Middleton, both of Olive Hill; three sisters, Mary Ruth Reynolds of Watkins, Colorado, Mollie Sadler of Lisbon, Ohio, and Loretta Newman of Mansfield, Ohio; nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Sarah was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a former assembly line worker in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and a member of the Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Austin Carter officiating. Burial will be in the Mabry-Kegley Cemetery on Beartown Ridge. Pallbearers: Carl Bossio, Brandon Kegley, Daniel Kegley, Brian Dillon, Kevin Baker, Rick Baker, Herman Conn, Steve Middleton.
